Whenever I set it to 'M' (stills) mode, pressing the Live View button doesn't show anything on the lcd. I can hear the mirror lock up, but after that... nothing. Only way around it is to push the Review button twice and then the lcd fires up. Even after taking a shot, I have to push the Review button twice.
One thing to note is that I have a Z-Finder frame glued on, that may be blocking the proximity sensors under the VF. However, it never seemed to be a problem before - Live View worked instantly in manual mode. Also, I do not want to have to remove the frame just for testing purposes.
Just want to know what you guys think and if anyone has experienced this. I'm totally okay with it, just want to make sure it's not a sign of a bigger, internal problem.
EDIT: For whatever reason, it works now.
