LIVE SWITCH SHOOT, touring setup. plz help

okay,

we are going to be touring for the next year, living in a tour bus.


- we need to project footage from the show onto a large screen on the stage.

- we'll be live switching, but would also like the capability to record as well.

- we need at least HD 2 cameras (that would be good in low light)


i have 70k to spend. and at this point am rather clueless of where to start buying.

please please help me get the right gear!

You should call AVHQ or another comparable staging interest. PM me and I'll pass along contact information for one of their national sales reps. They have SD and HD AirFax packages for IMAG, Iso recording and switched recording from air-portable (and truck portable) rackmount cases.

Give Chan at tvprogear.com a call. These guys specialize in putting together systems of this type. I just saw a really nice road cased rig they put together with 4 camera capabilities. It was very compact and sturdy.
