Live recording ???

Hey there,

I have a shoot coming up where I will be using 2 dvx-100a and 1 dvx-100b camera's. I will be using a sony anycast switcher and recording the switchers output. I also want to record in the camera's just in case. Is there a setting so when the tape ends or gets changed it does not go to black or stand by or something like that.

Just be sure to change your tapes quickly (what's the shutoff time on the DVX? 5-mins something isn't it?) and this will be a complete non-issue.
