Live Multi-Cam Switching for Webcast

The company I work for wants to start streaming live events with 3-5 DVX100 cameras, and I am having trouble finding a good solution that accomodates the following:
  • All cameras must be shooting 24pA
  • We want to be able to capture the uncompressed DV stream for later re-editing in FCP (which would mean capturing in QuickTime format in a way that removes pulldown).
  • We want to be able to feed the live stream as flash video.
Anybody done this kind of thing before? Got any recommendations?

Finding a switcher that supports 24pA - and can deal with it coming unsyncronized from DVX100 cameras - will be very difficult. You might want to re-consider if 30p would do - which would work with any switcher.

The simplest way to capture the DV stream is to record to tape in camera.

Can't speak for live Flash Video streaming - I've never seen it done, let alone done it.

Thanks for the input. That kind of confirms my fears of it not being possible with current software/hardware (unless I find somebody who can program a custom app).

The Wirecast software looks very interesting- I hadn't considered that. I've always preferred the look of QT to flash.

Webcasting aside- has anyone captured a 24pA stream live, while recording to tape. Is there good way to remove the pulldown, or does the stream even have pulldown?

Thanks!
