If you already own glass for either the D70 or 20D sure, choose that camera, but if not, the D70 is a better deal than any camera in that price range.

Drew - just checked out your site. Shards of Darkness looks very cool. When are you going to have it completed?

What's the significance of 599?
 
The short is already done and has been for a couple months now. I just haven't had time to put a 24 minute short on the site yet. Yes I know I need to put a homepage button on all the pages. "599" is the address of the house I lived at when I went to high school. That's the basic significance of it. There's more to it but I might put it into a future film for everyone to find out. Lets just say the house was infamous in the town I grew up in.
 
No. Nothing that cool. I grew up in a place called Placerville. If I was going to do a film about that place it would be more funny than anything else. Just people doing stupid stuff. I did get a request today to finish the story of "Shards of Darkness". The short kind of ends right when the story picks up. Its kind of like the beginning of a feature in a way. If I ever have the time I might make it into one. When I have the short up on the site I'll post it here.
