There is an FD 50mm 1.4 on ebay starting at $49.95, and one at $12.50 with 3 days + to go. ; )

Yes, that's why I got one of these to try--> adapter w/ optics I assume it doesn't interfere with the mirror... ?

We'll see how much it destroys the image though. The good thing is that you can take out the optics. Then I'll have an amazing collection of macro lenses!

I want to try an FD adapter, but they are multipliers too I believe, like 1.5x.

So wouldnt you then have 1.5x + 1.6x body multiplier?
