Line in? Mic in? What do people prefer with their AF100's?

I have a Shure FP33, AF100 and a Rode NTG-2. I was wondering what everyone prefers to run. Does anyone prefer to run all Line level or Mic level from their mixer to the AF100?

Yep - whenever you have a choice, go for line level.
It is a much stronger signal - less susceptible to interference

The mic-pres on the AF100 have a significant noise-floor. Using Line in will give you a cleaner
signal out of your mixer.

i have used both the internal mic pre amps on the AF and a Sound Device USB pre in front of the AF 100 sound inputs . By far the better results are with the USB Pre feeding the AF 100 with line level signals. The AF 's internal mic pre amps are adequate for sure but I prefer the sound quality with the USB pre acting as a level control, mic preamp in front of the AF.
