SHORT: Limited time only!

I thought this was pretty good. The acting was excellent and made this really believable. There are only a fee things that I saw that didn't work. When the couple is talking at the school and the girl waves to her friend, the friend is very obviously greenscreened. You can see the green in her hair. Also, when they're driving, you can tell he's greenscreened. The girl's shot looks really good though. At the end when the other friend comes by the house, it looked like they were outside in an alley instead of a basement. That seemed odd. Everything else was very good. Nice work.

I think I miss some sound design

- first scene is around the school I think ? Maybe some talking students...people around..birds singing because of the happiness ?

- shot at 00:30 (medium of her) the background sound is different then the shot before... (I hear music)

- the sound of opening the trunk...I miss it....

- the added sounds of closing car doors...are not 100 in sync and sound to close... And I know it's added because you forgot the sound of opening car doors...
same for the trunk.... That's why I missed the opening sound...you've only added (a bad) closing sound)

- you've used the same sound for all doors (for the closing)

- It would be have nice if you've recorded also ambience around the airport... because I hear some level differences... which is because when you lower the level, or higher up the level..something else has to come
in place so there are no "sound-holes".

- the part starting from 03:40 has a nice sound ambience... But is it something that already exist or made by yourself ?

The sound in general is not bad, but sometimes when actors speak the other side...or when it's not well boomed I can hear it.

I liked the acting, especially from your male lead, very nice, and creepy.

The green screen shot was a little weird and obvious.

Other than that, nice solid little short, not sure i cared for hte grading, but other than that, not many complaints.

I just want to thank those that took the time to at least view the post, maybe even click play and to those who watched, and to those who commented I congratulate you on keeping a thriving community going.

Dre:
for the sound design, I agree with everything you say but I just wanted to finish the puppy quickly and play it at a screening I had with a longer short, so yes the sound design could def. be better. And, we shot at the airport with no crew, reflectors, boom or good mics. I simply grabbed what came through the wireless lavs when it wasn't peaking and pieced the lines together word by word, now that y'all know that, I'm sure you'll notice.

jon/others:
Green screen, yes, the part where the friend waves is pretty crap but to those who don't know what green screen is, it's so quick they don't notice or care, so I've been told, but friends lie for the greater good... For the car, yes, it was hella hard to key out because it was shot outside against a green shower curtain that didn't have all the same colors nor did it cover the whole areas of the windows. It was tough, and I'm no fx expert but I think it looks pretty good, have you seen Machete, there's some pretty piss poor green screen in there, though that may be the point in that particular film.

And, the male lead did a fantastic job after I got him to stop "opening up" to the camera, AEA and all that.
Of course, total budget for this pup: $35 in breakfast tacos! (excluding all the junk I already had)

Thanks everyone! Keep up the good work.
