just recieved my Lilliput lilliput 869gl i hooked it up to my 60d and was not impressed. any suggestions on settings or hook ups

The quality / color...I know its a cheap monitor but i guess i was expecting a bit more when i read the 1920x1080 feature on this monitor.

Is there a preferred way to hook it up and dial it in. any in camera or lilliput settings that i should change

Thanks!

I could be wrong, so don't quote me on this (unless of course I'm right :)), but on the 60D you can't get HD output during live view. Whats happening is when you connect your monitor to the camera, its only outputting an SD signal which is what could be causing the quality issues.
I think the 7D is the only camera that outputs HD during live view

This is correct. Only the 7D and 1DIV output an HD signal while recording because of their dual processors.

Then still in playback mode, the 60D sends out a HD signal. If you dont like the colors / output on the monitor still, then it's the monitor :)

i am after a lilliput for my 60d.

The Small HD has auto fill cheap models such as Haier too have auto fill and Ikan. but only good for focusing which i will be doing.

Color i will use metering and a light meter.

How do you find your monitor now?
