Letus Xtreme footage on the big screen?

Hey guys I just purchased my XHA1 and was wondering about those who have the Letus DOF adapter. I work in a studio and am also a film student and have heard from more than one person "in the biz" that the Letus adapters, although allow for the attachment of great lenses and are fantastic for youtube and vimeo uploads, they create a significant amount of grain if the movie is played up on the big screen.

Anybody have any experience with this?

Thanks!

If you check the "User's Films" section of this forum, there are plenty of people using 35mm adapters like the Letus to produce films that are intended to be displayed on the "Big Screen".

The purpose of the vibrating and spinning adapters is to eliminate grain if used properly.

Shooting with an adapter shouldn't yield any more or less grain than not using one if you control the light properly. Blowing films up to the big screen usually is a function of resolution, and using an adapter has no effect on the native resolution of a cam.
