Good luck Chris. Was wondering if using the word 'Penthouse' is a copyright violation though?

Thanks. I've been a member here for four years, but this will be my first fest entry so I'm psyched.

As for the copyright, I'm not a lawyer, but it is my understanding that you can use copyrighted words in titles as long as you are not duplicating the title (calling your film "Star Wars") or representing your work as a product from said copyright holder.

I just love it when a title catches my interest and imagination. I have no idea whether you're going metaphorical or literal, but its a great title for Love Fest as it raises the whole sex/lust vs love issue in one's mind. Glad to see you entering and I agree that your use of Penthouse isn't a problem - especially in a non-income generating context.
