Let's talk external monitors...

Shooting with the M2 has made me think that ultimately I'd rather invest in one of these than a flip solution as this will not only solve that problem (by getting one with a flip function or mounting it upside down) but will also give me room to properly focus (the LCD just isn't doing it for me anymore).

That said, I'm looking at the most inexpensive one I can get away with for use with the A1.

Let the suggesting games begin.

Ikan V8000HD for $750 is the cheapest available. Only one problem: they're out of stock everywhere.

Only other choice is the Varizoom SWIT for $1100 or the Marshall for $1300 (plus the $300 modification for it to take cheap batteries). Add about $250 for batteries and a Noga arm.

This is exactly why I don't have a 35mm adapter. Can't afford the monitor.

Hahaha, no. Don't even waste your money on that unless you just need the flip. It's impossible to focus on those. The monitors I mentioned are already low rez at only 800 x 480. Not even close to pixel for pixel at 1080p.
