Less rolling shutter in 720p50 1/60

Doing a quick rolling shutter test it seams to be very little when set to 720p50 and 1/60 shutter. Not ideal for shooting in PAL country but very little rolling shutter. It's like night and day if you compare with other shutter speeds in 720p. Somehow the optical illusion masks the rolling shutter pretty well. Alot of motion blur is a good thing sometimes.

Try it out and share your findings!

hello everybody.. am new here and this is my first post.... say.. you meaning exacctly that setting is the best way to avoid rolling shutter.... "skew"???? n other question.. you said 72050 not ideal for PAl country... ??? is that correct...?? thanks..

I did this simple test by having a straight high contrast line in the middle of the frame and whipped fast side to side trying out different shutterspeeds in both 1080 and 720.

You might get rolling bars due to 50hz electric supply in PAL countries but outside in daylight it works fine using 1/60s.

does 24p produce pretty much same motion image as 25p (pal version) just with more complex data?
