LensStrap focus assist?

Looking for feedback on the LensStrap Focus Assist. http://www.lensstraps.com/default.html

I know it's silly to debate this $15 device but has anyone use a LensStrap? Do you recommend it?

They have a video showing how their device is better than the $2.99 jar opener.

I could use it for zoom follow..since I have a follow focus on my rig...may order one or two.

The lens/camera is wobbling pretty bad in that 'focus marking' video when he moves the focus.

I bought a set of these and they recently arrived. I think they are a fantastic way to add a zoom stick to a stills lens. They have a solid feel and quality build, and make smooth zooming much easier than just grabbing the barrel.

As I am used to using a zoom stick with cine lenses, I bought these for that use and don't think I'll be using them on the focus ring, but I bet some will find them useful there too.

Thanks for the review. They are now on eBay for $10.99 for the starter pack (1 rod, 2 straps). Just placed my order.
