Whats best when your filming and it starts to drizzle or light rain and you realy have to keep filming, i have found only glasses cloth not advised i know to be the only thing to wipe wet off the lens, lens paper just makes a mess, whats the best lens cloth for this job.
Your best bet is to stop the rain from getting on the lens in the first place. As long as it's not too windy a lens hood and rain cover should manage most of it.
Yes but keeping it off is hard expecialy if rain comes when your not expecting it,lens filters are another option as they dont cost s much as lenses, typicaly i was using a non filtered lens in the situation when caught out.
I was shooting out of the back of a car in the rain last week and the wind was sucking it into the car. The best I could do was to wrap the camera and keep a uv filter on the lens. Every 10 seconds I had to wipe the filter off so I used a soft dry cotton cloth. My extra t-shirt. Worked great to absorb the water, but wouldn't recommend wiping the lens element that way.
