Lens test old vs new

Im going to be making some further tests of some old zeiss 35 mm cine primes against some modern Olympus photo glass. I'll shoot some Rez charts at comparable focal lengths ,distances and f stops for starters . My plan is to shoot shoots stills with my GF 1 camera because I think the lenses being tested in each case see more resolution than the AF 100 can resolve . I'll also shoot some color charts as there are some colorimetry differences between the lenses. My question is this: are there any other test suggestions people might have before I embark on this test?

I think people here would rather see the tests done on the AF100 .

Include a skin tone ( face) and objects.

Technical tests (all charts ) by themselves are boring

I can and will do some testing with the AF 100 . Actually I've shot quite a bit with both types of lenses and the AF . I thought the Rez chart shot with the GF might be more telling since that camera will resolve more than the AF does. And I agree - charts are boring but necessary some times.

Since we already know that your lenses resolve higher than your camera can record, I ask... what's the point of shooting Res charts?

Why not just go shoot pretty pictures?

I think shooting some charts that reveal the ultimate performance of a lens in question is useful, because I'd like to know where things are going to fall apart ultimately. Just my own curiosity driving that decision I suppose , but I think the information is valuable.

Sure that info may be of value. Just saying that most of these lenses have already been projected.
And unless you make your living shooting resolution charts, well.
Hence shooting pretty pictures, which is what 99.9% of the people here are wanting to do.
