GH2 Lens Filter Issue

I usually keep a UV filter on my lumix 20mm lens for protection. Whenever I shoot anything with a light source in the background, there are reflections overlaid on the subject. Removing the filter fixes it.I was wondering if this happens with more expensive, quality filters. Mine is a cheap one. Here is a grab from a video clip showing the effect with window blinds in the background.

UV filters are good for protecting the lens' glass, but you always risk image degradation when you put anything in front of the lens itself. Cheap filters are very prone to reflections. A good multicoated filter will definitely have less of an issue with reflections. I find Marumi to have a good balance between cost/quality.
