Lens corrections in GH1 video mode?

Does the GH1 perform any form of lens correction in video mode?
From tests I've seen the performance of the Panasonic lenses seems rather lacklustre without said correction.

I'm looking at the 14/2.5, which suffers from horrendous distortion without correction. If possible I'd prefer to keep this work in camera rather than deal with it for every shot the thing produces.

There's no such thing as a lens correction function in the GH1, at least from what I know.

What do you mean by distortion? That the image gets "skewed" along the edges? You're looking at a wide angle lens, of course there's gonna be distortion, the wider you go the more distortion you get.

I'm talking about the same kind of distortion that applies to all lenses, barrel and pincushion distortion.

Most (if not all) micro 4/3 bodies have automatic correction for distortion and chromatic aberration with modern lenses.
I've seen references to lens correction on several GH1 reviews (http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/panasonicdmcgh1/page17.asp), but only regarding stills images.

Uncorrected the modern Panasonic and Olympus lenses tend to have relatively poor performance (http://www.photozone.de/olympus--four-thirds-lens-tests/613-pana1425?start=1).

I contacted Panasonic regarding this and they responded "correction works irrespective of the shooting mode, video or stills."

Good to know.
