lens assembly gap

I just got a brandnew hvx a couple of weeks ago and I probably got nothing to worry about.

But this gap between the lens assembly and camera body is making me little nervous. Is this the way it should be? Was my camera rushed when it was assembled? Do you guys have this gap as well?

Please tell me my hvx is alright!

I see many HVX's in a days time and yes the gap is completely normal.

Yep. mine and most of the ones I have used look like that. Some have more of a gap than others though. As long as your lens focuses sharply and is smooth on focus and zoom, you are fine.
