Little pricey for me personally, though I am curious if that is internal 4K recording or just via HDMI out.

Also would be interesting if this at all indicates Panasonic's entrance into full frame cameras. If they plan to take the tech and release one under the Panasonic name. It would make sense. There is a pretty significant difference between m43 and FF.
In a similar way that Nikon and Canon have APS-C and FF cameras, I could see Panasonic having full frame cameras that share the same lens mount as this Leica. The GH4 is under $2000 and it's their top caemra right now, so there is plenty of room to release a FF camera system above $2000 and still be competitive with other FF cameras.

Full 4K 4096x2048 at 24fps in a Super35 mode. Preferrable for use with cine lenses. Not a bad call even though it would be nice to also have a FF 4K mode.
L-Log though. Nice they included that.
Wonder what the audio adapter will be like. No XLR jacks but it would be nice if they could included those, maybe on a different adapter.

My guess is somewhere around 100Mbps for internal 4K recording. Especially with a 4GB file size limit and a max record time of 29:59 minutes.

I wish there is a Lumix version for the rest of us, it uses the same sensor as Leica Q which is Panasonic made.

The lack of an OLPF concerns me. I wonder how it will be with moire and aliasing. Still, I'm actually a little bit tempted to buy this. I also wonder if the 1080p mode line skips which would suck. Also too bad about the 4k Super 35 mode only. In S35 mode, it is a 10 megapixel sensor. I also have to wonder about low light sensitivity.

This looks to be a cool camera with a price tag of $7450 usd. Cheap as far as Leica is concerned. B&H says shipping on 21st Nov. The Full HDMI is nice. And this has DCI 4k.
Lowlight may be decent as it says max ISO is 50,000. I hope someone can buy and tell us what is the noise levels at 50k ISO. Interestingly at DCI 4k, the fps is 24. 25fps is only available at UHD.

At 11fps for stills shooting this can be cool for still photographers or people who do both stills and video. I would love to have such a camera in EF mount.

The frame rate limitations are part of the HDMI 1.4a/1.4b spec. It has to do with data flow volume.

The SL lens mount is very shallow, much like the MFT and A mounts. So A Canon EF adapter could be constructed.

The 10-bit output on this thing is the biggest deal IMO. Makes it a particularly exciting option for gimbal-type work.

This is the reason they made such a graphic video with powerlines. As you can see there is no aliasing.

Keep in mind that, even if this looks like the Sony a7, it's a lot bigger. The Leica SL body weights MORE than the FS5 body (847g vs 827g) (much nicer shape for small gimbals, though, I'll give you that).
