Legit reseller? iBuyDigital.com has lowest price for HMC-150

They seem to get mixed ratings from very good to very poor. They are part of a bigger group.

The good ratings are themselves making up BS.

You can see my poor experiences with this conglomerate and all but 1 say to stay away. Only way you get the camera for that price is to by the 400% markup-ed accessories that make up for the difference (otherwise its 'on back order').

When checking camera prices, if you start with reputable dealers, anything that's WAY UNDER their price has to be some sort of rip-off:

HMC-150, Reputable Dealer $3,495

HMC150, IBuyDigital, $2,589

Difference = $906 or 74% of a Reputable Dealer's Price

That's WAY TOO LOW, this should be the first red flag of a rip-off.

Always type 'business_name scam' or 'business_name reviews' in google - then you will find out whats up...

It must be another scammer shop based in Brooklyn, almost always opened by some unscrupulous cheater who closes the shop soon after too many complains and opens another to scam, then closes it,, opens another, on and on.......!
I know how hard to earn $$$, but don't let your $2500 varnish, also you have to understand legitimate retail has a reason for profit, so $2589 is fraud, no brainer.

I just ordered one and it came fast and works great. They just try to oversell their extremely overpriced add ons and accessories. No warranty in US either. All that aside its a 1000 dollars cheaper and works amazing if you ask me.

I'm not sure the government could do anything. I mean, if they are breaking laws, prosecute them. But they have been around for awhile, and there isn't anything illegal about being a scmuck, or selling grey market stuff.

Geez Gary, didn't we go through this in another thread that eventually Jason Ramsey locked because of repeated statements of your experience?

I think you're nuts to buy anything gray market when you consider your options on the HMC-150.

I just bought my second 150 on ebay for $2,900. It has 14 hours on it and is still eligible for registration through Panasonic so I get the 3 year warranty, honestly, I don't see how I could beat that.

My only regret is not being able to get accidental damage insurance which I would have gotten for 220 on JR if I'd ordered through them, but then the camera would have been 3200, so I'd be paying more like 500 bucks for the warranty.
