It's important to note that it is unlawful to sell this Tx for use in the US, and it is unlawful to use it in the US. And the FCC is second only to the IRS in fine collection. I would respectfully encourage the seller to make the appropriate disclaimers wherever they advertise.

Also, please list a price, per the guidelines.

Maple, I posted on this board specifically because this is a professional board. Anyone purchasing this would know the FCC rules of which range you can use here in the US. No amateurs are going to be purchasing this. You would clearly need a block 28 receiver to use this transmitter.

Gee, you're welcome.

Okay, I'll be more explicit. You are required by law to make the disclaimer in your ad, anywhere it is posted in the US. It is illegal to sell for use in the US. It is not unlawful for someone in the US to purchase it. It is, however, illegal to operate in the US. If a buyer is not aware of the law and purchases from you, and you did not alert them to the law, you are at fault. It is you're responsibility, not the buyer's. Oh, and irrespective of legalities, making the disclaimer is the professional thing to do.

I am not required by law to make the disclaimer in my ad. I am however, bound by making sure the buyer understands what they are buying before they purchase it, and if they don't understand the FCC rules, then I will inform them of the 700 block rules BEFORE purchase. However, I'm selling it on this site exclusively because anyone using Lectro gear knows what blocks they can use. I appreciate you making this clear to anyone who doesn't know, but I am not selling this to just anyone. Thanks.

Respectfully, you are mistaken. When the law says that it is illegal to sell an item for use in the US, it is implicit that a seller must make that disclaimer when selling such an item. Just check out all 700 band gear on all the prod sound house websites; they all feature this disclaimer. Check out eBay ads; most feature the disclaimer and those that don't end up deleted by eBay (eBay rules actually require the disclaimer).

Listen, I'm just trying to be helpful to both you and a potential buyer. I know first hand that you are in error, and that the FCC is all over this right now. They are watching online sales, and they are going after productions. You can't even bring this item onto most studio lots anymore because the FCC is patrolling the freqs in major markets.

However, I'm selling it on this site exclusively because anyone using Lectro gear knows what blocks they can use.

That's certainly not been my observation.
