I'm basically looking to get a great video camera on finance / lease. These are the one's in my price range, which i think are the best option's. Just wondering which one you guy's thought would be the best?

Canon XH-G1

Canon XH-A1

Canon XL2

I'm guessing the XHA1 or XL1?

Was (hoping) going for a shoulder mounted camera, then a Mark 2 E0S camera. Now though, this is where i've ended up, and would appreciate some friendly advice at the last hurdle.

For me, this would be like having a child.

I'd go with the XH-A1s (the newer model of the XH-A1). Though it's not significantly different, the new model did improve on a lot of the weak points that the XH-A1 had and therefore is quite a bit stronger of a cam. However, it's also $1000 more and a lot of people can't justify spending that much money for a slew of ultimately minor changes.
