I wear glasses and the LCDVF works fine for me
Do you get a total light proof seal though? Thats one of the best things about the lcdvf.

anybody wearing glasses ever thought of getting laser eye surgery? When vision is so important in what we do, I'd expect the expense would be a small price to pay for fixing your most important tool.
Unfortunately having problems with focusing things close-up, presbyopia, is a progressive age decrepitude thing and are not easily fixed permanently with laser surgery. I did laser surgery for my myopic (distance focusing) problems when I was 30 and now 17 years later I start to need reading glasses just like anybody with natural good eye-sight. You'll get there eventually too, you'll seerogar-SunGlass(DBG
Everyone's eyesight eventually gets bad but the laser eye surgery option , even if it only lasts 10 years is still a damn good investment.
Don't you think the price for 17 years of good eyesight was a good price to pay? And laser eye surgery, like everything has advanced more than 10 fold in 17 years.
My main point is that laser surgery not such a simple solution as you somewhat patronizingly say, not always necessarily the best and also contains risks. Some few unlucky sods even get worse eye sight post the procedure.
They were excited about it, I'd thought I'd mention it to people out there who might have never had it cross their mind.
how's giving helpful advice patronizing? Maybe read it differently or stop being so cynical.
You came of as patronizing when you made those comments about how you don't understand ...
but we've thought about it a LOT over the years. It's not nearly as simple as you make it out to be.
