C200: LCD viewfinder loupe

Ok, a new EVF is great and precise, but I've used to use a LCD viewfinder on a C100 II and DSLRs, I think there is no better way to monitor everything in any ambient light and stabilize a camera in the same time. But the problem is now we have bigger 4" screen which is not standard and I couldn't find any loupe for that. I've contacted Kinotehnik and couple of others and everyone said they do not have any plan to produce it, so are there any other LCDVFs on the market that I don't know of ?

Thanks, I've sent an email to the Grid people, I hope they will consider making a version for C200...

As for the viewfinders, they have the same resolution as C200 EVF and I don't think they can match it's color accuracy, so they are likely worse, expecially the cheap ones. I've also contacted Zacuto, and they also don't have any plans to make optical Z-finder for the C200...

Out of curiosity, why not rely on the built-in EVF? The EVFs on the C100/II and the C300/II work spectacularly well, IMO. I assume similar performance from the C200.

The new EVF is way better than C100 II, and expecially C100, but when you try a loupe on an LCD once, there is no going back. The picture is much larger than any EVF and you can see your focus and exposure/white balance faster and more precise. I can work with this new EVF, but the new LCD is also bigger and much better than the old one, so EVF cannot compare with that. The other thing is that LCD has more movement so it's easier to shoot in some situations. But the main thing is that it's like you're in the movies, the picture is very large...

I used to shoot with a 5d Mark II a lot and had one of those Kinotehniks on it, and I thought about the experience in the same way. It really gets everything up close to your eye/brain and the analyzation of the scene felt better via the high magnification.

Yes, I know, but that is not that important against the ability to more precisely see white balance, exposure, focus. You feel much faster and more precise when you look at bigger screen while shooting.
