LCD protection?

Hey guys,

I just got my 7d a few hours ago and already just looking at the LCD screen I'm terrified of what could possibly happen to it.

I know with other monitors, I've seen people get pieces of clear plastic cut and then velcro it to the edges. Granted with the 7d, there isn't much space to stick the velcro, but I was wondering if anyone had tried something like this. I figured you could still do some very thin strips that would keep it on there.

Tried a search but came up with nothing...doubt I could be the only one thinking this.
 
I've read from posts on here that the LCD screen is very tough and you don't have to worry it about it much. There's already a protective film on there. Apparently, you can remove it and buy a new film for something like 10 bucks. not sure of the exact price. I've read that you can just wipe it off using your cotton t-shirt. I used a piece of lens tissue and it works fine. No scratches or anything.
 
I wish Zacuto made a LCD cover for the Z-Finder mount... just a little clip on peice of plastic that would be great.
