Lcd Issue???

Hi guys, I'm thinking about purchasing an HVX from a friend but when I was checking it out the other day I noticed that when looking at the LCD you can sort of see the image vibrating, its extrememly minimal though, just tiny tiny lines kind of shaking up and down but again its very little. Is this normal?

This was my first time playing with the HVX and I must say I wasn't really blown away, I shot at 1080i/24p but when looking through the CD it didn't look very special but then I know that thats because the LCD is not true to the actual image being shot. How big is the difference? (not to mention I didn't do anything to the settings, i was outdoors).

Also where in the menu do I go to look at how many hours the camera has been used?

Yeah, your footage isn't going to be impressive at all when played back on that tiny screen. You need a high definition monitor. The shaking might the EVF Detail function.

In tape mode, Menu> Other Functions> Hour Meter
This will only show you the hours put on the heads. It has nothing to do with P2 recording. I think.
