LCD HD question

hello:

I'm looking to buy a new HD LCD to put on top the the XL H1 camera mount. The specs i'm looking for are:

16 by 9
preferably HD
$400-$1000
preferably can run off of camera battery and be hooked up to camera mount
6+ inches

I will be using the LCD to help me frame shots and set the contrast. Maybe you it also as another guide to help me focus. I'm not looking for a LCD that will blow my mind (to expensive) but rather something that just gets the job done. I was thinking to that maybe i should just look into buying a portable DVD player and using that instead (if its allot cheaper). What i was hoping for is if people could recommend me HD LCDs for the camera that they had a good experience with, cites were i could get them, and anything additionally that i should know.

Another question i had that was completely off topic from this one (i did not want to start a new thread for this) was if i record to 24f should i be importing it into my editing program (sony Vegas) as progressive and would the footage play well on a progressive HDTV since 24f is suppose to replicate 24p. basically when i record to 24f is it no longer interlace footage but progressive footage?

Thank you

$400-1000 will get you a decent LCD for framing, but not for adjusting image or focus (especially in HD). The minimum "acceptable" LCD monitor for HD seems to be the Marshall at $1300.

thanks Jade for your reply. Could you give me the full name of the Marshall HD lcd your talking about. I would like to look it up. Can it run off the camera battery? Also, could you recommend me any other LCDs that would be in between this quality - not the greatest but not unacceptable either.
