LCD "Custom Display" - how custom is custom?

Took a quick look at a C300 today and was trying to adjust the "Custom Display" options so that only the aspect ratio markers, iris, shutter and ISO were being displayed. Couldn't quite get that result in the short time I had with the camera. It was either toggling between no display or a clutter of every bit of info imaginable.

Does anyone familiar with the camera know if that degree of LCD display customization is possible?

I'm almost certain you can get down to just that info, or at least very close to it. But you're options will be to have just that small amount of info or nothing when you toggle the "Display" button. In the LCD, you get either all the info overlay that you set for it, or none.
 
Thanks for the info. Good to know. It does seem though like having a toggle state with aspect markers only would have been a nicely thought-out option.

I agree - I'd love to have 3 display toggle options: full info, minimal info, and no info.
