LCD and Viewfinder at same time?

Flipping the LCD out (which turns it on) disables the viewfinder, that's kind of a bummer. Any menu / setting option to address this?

In the XF300/305 cameras, there is a menu setting under the LCD/VF Setup icon called LCD/VF Simul. Turn it on and you have both at the same time. Since the C300 menu options are quite similar to the XF300 series, I would hope that this setting would not have been overlooked. Let me know if you find it.
