lets say i shoot a big long slomo sequence in 720p thats 80 minutes long on 2x 16gig p2 cards. And i want to lay it off to DV tape internally. what happens when the recorded clip is longer than the DVtape? does it pause and wait for you to put in a new tape and continue from there?

Item # 121 to try out on training day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your final result will not be an 80 minute unedited shot so you can just make sure you have all of it on a series of tapes, even if theres a minute of overlap at the beginning and end of each tape.

I'm sure the shot will be considerably cut up in your final edit. Even Koyaanisqatsi has long sequences like that cut up and interspersed. (yes I know Koyaanisqatsi is timelapses and not slow motion, but theyre like year long timelapses so the lengths of his raw shots were all long format)

Nobody could even do a continuous 80 minute slow motion shot on 35mm film since film doesn't come in canisters that long. And if it did it would take a forklift to move it, and a hot tub full of chemicals and a firehose to develop it.
