Layed up for a while

I just had surgery yesterday on my foot. The doc had to break my big toe and move it where it belongs, then pin it in place. 8 weeks recovery. So I'll be watching a whole lot of tutorials!

I am too freakin wired to sit still. Two weeks totally off my foot is gonna drive me crazy!!

Hang in there! And after you go insane you can really use that to your advantage later...aren't the most creative folks a little on the "crazy" side?!

Put on some ocean sounds, sit back on the sofa, think of being on a beach with no responsibilities... you're drinking something refreshing with a little umbrella on the side of the top of the drink... relax...

OR

buy a dozen Krispie Kreme donuts, whatever soothes you.

I keep this idea in the back of my mind constantly... between the unicorn paddock and the space-time modulator.

Good luck with the big toe! Why not make a little commitment TODAY... RIGHT NOW... that you will use this time to finally write that little story that you've always wanted to get to, but never have?

I could be wrong, but I'm willing to bet you're not on DVXuser simply because you like cameras...

Yeah. I am not layed up or anything, but that is what I am concentrating on right now. My first Fest enrty confirmed have no idea how to write! So Write,Write,Write!

Thanks for the encouragement everyone... Charli I lost 22 lbs before I had this surgery, I don't want to get hooked on glazed donuts... but it does sound really tasty right now.

Jack, its not that bad actually they gave me vicodin for mild pain and norco for severe pain, just been using vicodin. You should look into it. Doc said if I wait too much longer I'd end up with a prosthetic joint. And that would lower mobility.

Dsto, very true on the crazy side of things.

Matt and Ryan, Very good idea to write something... I'm not much of a writer, but now is as good as anytime to start.
