Greetings wary monster film type obsessed er viewer ... producers...

This is the thread for the almighty epic (probably far too long) audio feedback that I will be producing (this time) within a couple of days of the viewing.

I intend to add some comparison musings about the ideas explored by different filmmakers, and to get into the nuts and bolts of what i thought made stories great - others suck, and to commend those who took the opportunity to really explore there concepts and provide constructive feedback/opinions to those who didn't (and what i thought would improve them.)

It's nice to get a chance to discuss films (a step back) and to compare and discuss etc.

I'm certainly not intending to be too anal on the technical aspects (and while i'll certainly commend good craftsmanship) I won't get my panties in a twist about it over the importance of artistic merit and story.

Good luck to everyone and yep my own film (post festival - Black Hare) will be posted here to be lamblasted when its done!
 
Are you going to make this one huge and monsterously large file or break it up in pieces? If you do break it up in pieces I do expect you to mention me in each. Think of it as a requirement. :)
 
Lawrie - its good to know you'll be back in action. Eventually, if not already, everyone will expect you to present an audio or video review. I really got a kick out of the QuestFest video review. Orson Wells would do something like that. Not now. He's dead of course.
 
I took the last words of advice given to me to heart (those that don't know look up Mundane...2 fests back I believe)

I can't wait to see all the entries...too bad I wont watch them till Monday or late Sunday night. Going outta town to watch TCU's homecoming game with the g/f up in Ft. Worth.
