LATE - A last minute entry

Quick and to the point. Wasnt much story, but hey it only lasted a minute? I liked it.

Hmmm... must have been an optical illusion. Those are my shoes in both shots.

At first I thought the guy's kid fell down the steps and then was pleasantly surprised that you didn't go that route :) The shoe did look oddly disproportionate. Great little flick though!

Live review! Nice ball! …er. Its finished. This was gonna be a review while watching (though I hate them, it’s an economical way of making it through 69 films). But it’s finished. Ha. Hahaha. Nice. I like it. Good job. Don’t be late next time, so we can see a full film!

Very impressive enjoyable 58 seconds. I thought always that 6 minutes are short and then this nice surprise. Is your occupation advertising filmmaker? This film gave me a little bit this feeling. Nice little effective work - compliments!

Packed a whole story into 50 seconds. Not bad at all.

Enjoyed it. Falling down the stairs camera shots didn't make any sense till the end.

Love to see what you could do with two months instead of two days!!

aw

Ha! Awesome short-short. You got a complete story across in less time than most of these entries finish the opening credits. I really enjoyed it, and I'll take quality over quantity ANY day. Simple and very effective. I look forward to seeing more from you.

Hey,

Caught the piece. Funny and interesting. I thought the look worked and the shots were nice. Next time a bit more time in preproduction, huh? Looking forward to it.

i will spend more time writing you a review than i spent watching your film and you will be a whole lot less entertained by me than i was by you.

neat idea!

haha, nice! did you roll your camera down the stairs?

I didn't do that... but I put two pumpkins in a pillow case and rolled that down the stairs to create the sound of falling down the stairs. The pop or snap that you hear is actually the pumpkin stem breaking on one of the pumpkins.

Liked the ending shot as well and the shot where he sees his own foot.

The ending shot was an interesting set up. I don't have a jib or crane so I rigged up a pully on a 2x4 and then *gasp* tied the DVX to the rope that ran through the pully. It just happened to twist a little as it ascended so that worked out too.

I'm working on a DIY project that requires me to produce edited video in 15 second chunks. So that has shaped my work recently.

succint and to the point. nice tale of an idea. The B&W didn't do much imo, and it didn't really look "B&W".

I agree - still working on that. BUT, what it did allow me to do is use chocolate syrup for the blood - YUM! (I think Hitch did that in Psycho?).
