Language keeps reverting back to Japanese

I downloaded the 1.32 from the sticky thread and loaded that onto the camera. This changed it to Japanese.

(I realise now that was probably the wrong first step.)

Then I used ptool to update it, (checked all languages option) renamed it to GH1__133.bin and loaded that on my camera.

It was still in Japanese at startup, but I found the language and changed it to english. However, every time the camera is turned off and on it goes back to Japanese. How can I just load english back on it?

Well, the problem seems to be gone.

I think I had to switch it to English for each mode dial position (portrait, landscape, action, movie, etc).



Seems ok now!
