Lance Scooters Commercials

Thanks!

We used HotRod Cameras PL7Ds
Zeiss standard speed primes.
One 5D2 with zeiss ZE's

Car mount shots were done with 6 film tools suction cups, a variety of grippage, and a Volkswagen convertible as lead car/chase car.

Some hard mounts were done on scooters, some of it is scooter to scooter with me on the back of a scooter and some car to scooter with me
Shooting with the top down.

Scooter is on a lazy susan in front of a black background. Post production guys sped it up and slowed it down.

Also - I should add that all of this was done WITHOUT PERMITS.

I don't recommend this route to anyone - as it could get your gear confiscated, or WORSE.

That being the case though - we were shooting way out in Rancho Cucamonga so no one really cared what the heck we were doing - we even did several passes through the local mall and everyone was just nice and supportive - so I think the further you get from major metropolitan cities the more people will accept this kind of thing as long as you do it professionally and keep it cool.

Regarding the film tools car mounts - someone was recently complaining about them. Here are my three tips for use:

1. Clean, but not freshly waxed car.
2. a bit of fresh water on the (clean) cups - rapid karate chop pump action.
3. Triangulation, triangulation, triangulation. :)
