Lady Gaga

Congrats Bill! Did you guys actually talk...what you guys talk about?

I just told her where her key light was and where she'd fall out of the light. All information which she promptly (and wisely) ignored.

She was a cool guest, one of my favorite of the year. Her performance was so dynamic that it really livened things up.

I have to say that I'm very pleased to have been part of the whole 'Gaga' thing.

Another shot of the lighting, which had to be pretty general:

Wow, bad vocals at 1:15 (I only skimmed the video and just happened uppon that spot, so there may be more places)

Her live voice breaks as badly as the encoding of the led walls behind her.

Moire to the extreme! Was is that bad live? Or are the total black outs just from youtube?

I don't think it was bad at all. She just went down an octave.

I'm not usually into pop music but I think she is wickedly talented. I mean, Madonna II talented. Great singer, songwriter, performer, visual artist, etc. I used to be hot for her until my gf pointed out that she looks a lot like my first cousin. Why didn't she just slam my penis in a book? sheesh.

sweet, lady gaga gave us a shoutout for a cover we did of bad romance on her twitter. she seems real nice, and i like her music.

congrats!

Yeah, that's due to the 11mm spacing of the LED screens.

Four Panasonic SDX-900's , though we're currently switching over to HPX-2700's.
Fairly neutral settings. 3200K, F/ 2.8.

Lighting, about 4 1/2 hours but we had a lot to remove from the grid before we started. A lot of that time is tweaking and refining. Approx. four man electric crew. Four camera op's.

The artist wanted some adjustments that we tried to accommodate as best as possible as well.
