About 10 hours away from shooting Lady Gaga. I've already received about 3 amended run downs.

Got home late from shooting today, still figuring out how I'm going to deal with her video screens, etc.

Still, kind of excited...
 
While in an L.A. club last May, I saw her give an unannounced 3 song performance. This was before the album dropped, so I had no clue who she was. Catchy tunes though.

Her "look" is different, that's for sure.

OK, we're lit- (3) 6x4 moveable LED screens, lighting cues, lazer glove, crystal wand,
DJ and three dancers. Set a front and midline cue plus a generic back light across the grid. Colored pars in the grid and palace lights on the floor. Her crew (very cool) laid out marley board for the dancers which picks up reflections nicely.

So far I have the lenses set at 2.8 but am running the lighting at f/ 2.0. She's set for soundcheck in 15 minutes. Check in later.

Exactly.

She's got a weird look and she often dresses very differently from one scene to the next. Check out her music videos. Seems like her flat platinum blond hair and large crazy glasses are her signature. But her outfits are always wierd retro, futristic glamorous kinds of outfits.

Love her music. She's very talented, and she actually writes songs (does she write her own songs? I know she wrote for other big names.)
 
I HATE poker face.

I literally emailed our local radio station telling them to stop playing that song over and over again.

This is for AOL Sessions. It's a live studio performance. 4 camera shoot w/ jib.

I was told she's Billboard's #1, and as of yesterday has the record for most downloads in a single day, ever.

You can clearly see 2 of the 3 video panels. On the right side of frame is a quad split mounted on the jib.
The look dialed in here was for her low key solo keyboard performance.

Can you please shoot her quickly and save the rest of us from having to listen to her? Thanks.

Don't like her at all but congrats on the gig anyway. High profile work is always good.
 
I love Just Dance with that other famous guy whose name I cant remember for the life of me. Just dl it a few weeks ago on my cell phone.

I've heard this before but never saw the singer. Sounds pretty good. Girl's got a body on her too. Gotta love the cheesy dance moves and the DJ in the background getting down. You notice they bust into River Dance for a second around 1:53. LOL. I like it. Looks like a lot of fun.

It's pop-club music, kinda like complaining twinkies for not being high quality enough.
