When you see it in device manager does it say activate in the drop down menu when you right click? If so, you can select that and it will mount and show up.
If not, macreader will do the job.

It's all working now. Using Mac 'whatever the lame **** is called' and all is good; still need the HDDVPro thingy decoder from Raylight to convert the MAC QT files

Just everyone get on the same page already and make everything universal.

While both can read and write to FAT32, it doesn't support file sizes over 4G, which will not do much for P2 data.

P2 is also FAT32 (specifically for compatibility), so no problems there. The P2 system simply splits into smaller files once you get near the 4GB limit. They are then automatically spanned together again later.
