Krauss - A Michael Bay Feature Film

Krauss [pronounced "cross"] is my first feature film. I am very excited to finally do a feature. The crew is small so most are doing multiple jobs. I have many jobs including acting, director, editor, composer, mixer, writer, producer, and there are more.

Krauss is a mix of Sin City and The Spirit. It is very over the top and has that dry humor that you either love or hate. It may be entered into a film festival but that depends on how well it turns out. I really hope it goes as planned but I know that it won't.

CAST
Krauss - Dylan Presko
Mitersaw - Whitley Gaiser
Strohm - [Still up in the air but probably Cody Kaniecki]
Wrenchman - Darlene Presko
Extras - Destinee Adams, George Presko, others

CREW
Director, Writer, DOP, Editor, Composer, Mixer - Dylan Presko
Producers - Dylan Presko, Whitley Gaiser, George Presko Sr.
Grips - George Presko Jr.
Production Design - Whitley Gaiser, Dylan Presko
Creative Consultants - Debbie Presko, Frank Drahos, Jeremy Wyles
Casting - Dylan Presko

I know it looks pathetically small but it should turn out. I will upload some stills from the set later.

Yes, Michael Bay. I'm taking a break from the summer blockbusters to do something that's more low budget.

Then this wouldn't be your first feature film. Who are you really? Not that it's impossible for someone to have the same name.... But lets not try to suck off on someone else's fame now. :)

Well, 'first feature' could mean that MB is making a real movie for once, and not just a string of expensive SFX shots...

But given the prevelence of the name, "Dylan Presko", in the credits, I suspect Michael Bay is at the very least a pseudonym...

How did I know someone was going to try that same old weak-ass argument again? I shall hold my tongue on this. Just let the film snob buffoons be... Whoo sah.. :costumed-smiley-047

:)

LOL, Michael Bay is just my username. I love Bay no matter how dumb his movies are though I was heavily disappointed with TF2.

I wish you good luck on your first feature. You only get one, so it'll be unforgettable to you. Make sure that you persevere though the tough times, but above all, have fun!

Sorry about taking so long on the stills. I've been doing some last minute rewrites. I hate for this to happen but I've had to rush pre-production. I hope for the bluescreen footage to work as well as planned though it probably won't. We did many tests on it and I think we got the lighting down as good as possible but I'm not sure on scenes where there is a good amount of movement.

I know that nobody really cares but I'll try to have some stills up by Tuesday. It will probably be tomorrow. Also, I want to do a "making of" documentary while shooting to get some on set, behind the scenes footage. Should I take the time for it or just use that time in the actual film?

Stills please.

Which city are you planning on filming this?

The outskirts of Pittsburgh for the exterior scenes though a lot of it is on bluescreen.

[Ok...why isn't the image showing?]

Try uploading them manually by clicking the little red arrow in the upper right of the dialogue box when you click advanced in the reply box. See if that works.

Serious answer though, here's the real plot

PLOT:A few months before the present times, Mitersaw, a gun wielding, insane crime lord, happened to have Krauss as his victim in a setup by her and her goons. They were looking to setup any ordinary person but Krauss is no ordinary. He is the best of his kind in fighting and weaponry. Mitersaw took Krauss' silver chain which has been in his family for over 100 years. Krauss will not have that as he sets out [with a little help from his weapons dealer, Strohm] to take out Mitersaw and get his revenge but problems along the way slow down Krauss. Will he make it and avenge himself?

[Yeah that's right, a female playing the psychotic villain]
