Mine got really bad in-lens dust... or that's what it seemed until I disassembled it.
It wasn't dust. It might have been a water drop leaked into the lens after a lot of inner lens dirt. The lens has front element sucking the dirt. Light reflection on the rear element made it look like floating dust. After cleaning it, it's as clean as my lumix 20.7mm pancake.
