Knock Off GH2 battery.... Using one yet ???

It's still freakishly expensive. I've been using the $10 550D battery's for ages. Why are these so expensive? Because the camera has a check?

I really don't want to be the one to test this first. I have used plenty of knock offs in my nikons. Is there a prob with knock offs in Panasonics??

Its not a knock off battery as its a real battery. Panasonic know fine well that batteries cost pennies to make and this is why they are anal about using their own batteries. Its profiteering on a huge scale.

Guys... these batteries are cheap compared to Anton Bauer or even the HMC150 batteries. For 200 bucks you could get 4 batteries and viola since they charge so fast, you'll be good for a day....

For less than that you can buy a Tekkeon which will last you a week!

Yes, I am the one who actually posted his experiences in the other thread too.
I am using two of those 39$ Ebay ones who work superb.

Next week I´ll be getting 10$ ones from Alibaba.

Sometimes (usually at the very beginning, so no danger) the GH2 somehow complains, that they are not original batteries
and they are not compatible.
Not true, a bloody trick from Pana.
Usually putting the camera off and on solves that.Or pulling the battery out.
THANK YOU PANASONIC FOR THIS BS.
You´re worse than Canon now.
Experience:
The batteries last even longer than the original ones is my impression, so the claim they have 650mah is definitely NOT true.

Every solution is better than a greedy 90$ ripoff.

I´ve bought it too and it works fine so far. I let it run continuously and after 11/2 hour the battery was empty (only interrupted 2x after 29.59 minutes). I think that´s ok. The only little downside is that there is no charge indicator visible...

I saw these on taobao for only $95RMB(around $14USD). It said to have 1000mah and that it is a newly developed product that the camera could not tell the battery power.
