I produced and DPed this for the Tampa 48 Hour Film festival last year. Shot with two Arri Amiras with Canon CN-e 15.5-47, 30-105, and 18-80, and we used a Canon C300 Mark II as a prop (so def belongs in this forum). It was nominated for Best Picture and won the Audience Choice award for its viewing segment of 15 films in that block.
Rented a big AirBnB for the shoot, shot pretty much straight through the night, starting around noon on Saturday and filming until around 4pm the next day. I might have gotten 30 minutes of sleep at one point.
Our writer had written a drama script which I then re-wrote/doctored, but the director wasn't a fan of it and as we were running low on time he wanted to do a mockumentary which he felt would be easier to pull off. I wish we had done the drama script, but this is what we came up with.
