keep #@#$%@ that chicken

I have been trying to wrap my head around what that even means?! I mean, if it takes a "tough man to make a tender forecast" would, said meteorologist, need to keep #@#$%@'ing a chicken as a means to tenderize it? And I love how the weatherman casually says, "'k, I'll do".

Either way, I am getting it printed on a t-shirt.

According to him - he meant to say plucking.... but do a quick search and you'll find plenty of news articles that are reporting that's not what he say....

Supposedly, Keep F-ing that Chicken is a vulgarized acronym for KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken). "It takes a tough man to make a tender forecast" is a takeoff of an old purdue chicken slogan, so I think he had some kind of free association brain fart and blurted out the phrase.
