Kawa Adapter on 7d

ok. im trying to put my 50mm nikon on the 7D via the kawa Adapter.

for some reason its not lining up with the connectors.
Is that necessary since its a diff lens?

The "connectors" shouldn't line up. Its purely a physical connection, not electrical.
