JVC HD-100U VS. Canon XH-A1

Well, I decided that the JVC to me just looked professional, which is the look of camera that I wanted; a shoulder mount cam, that's why I wanted the XL H1, partly because of the professional look and partly because the XL series is my favorite camcorder series for the amazing quality for an affordable price. And I also found out that the HD-100 is priced so low because of how unpopular it is amongst filmmakers and broadcasters, or so I was told. I'd still like to test one out for the hell of it, but it'd be too much of a risk for my money when I know that the A1 produces a beautiful picture.
But, anyway, I had my heart set on the H1, until I realized months ago(when I really started researching my camera) that the XH A1 is the EXACT same camera packed in a smaller, more compact body and without the pro JackPack AND for about $2,000 less. Although it was hard for me to give up a almost life-long dream of owning an XL, I had to go for the A1 and, within a few hours of my decision, I came to love the A1 and I can't wait to say that I own one, I'm just still waiting on this guy that is apparently selling it to me to get back to me.:):):):)
