This kinda got buried in that thread about JVC's fixed-lens $5000 camera...
But halfway through this video, they move to the fun stuff:

Around $10k for a approx 4/3rds size sensor camera with interchangeable lenses?!?!! Sometime this year!
I have to say, I'm damn impressed! Even if everyone buys that Canon 24p 4K cam... you'd still want this around for slow-mo. 60fps 4K slow-mo on a tiny, lightweight camera with a large sensor is insane! You can't even do that on a Scarlet - it's 60fps 3K... (EDIT - whoops: Scarlet is 48fps 3K, 60fps 2K... while recording to extremely expensive SSDs)
They even have electronic aperture control of Nikon lenses. Though personally I think that if it's a sensor that's around 4/3rds size, it'd be nice if we could fast wide lenses on it - a M43 or E mount would be nice? Probably I'll just stick a Tokina 11-16 on it and be happy though
Sounds like they're considering pairing it up with quad HD-SDI. Anyway, whether it's HDMI or HD-SDI... for your greenscreen studio shoots: pair this up with uncompressed or ProRes capture and the quality will be fantastic.
Sticking together 4 separate HD feeds sounds like a bit of a pain - but someone will automate it and I bet it will take a heck of a lot less rendering than my R3Ds do to get full quality.
Hope they put Genlock on it because it would be KILLER for 3D.
I was prepared to wait years for Panasonic to do the same thing!

And people thought I was crazy...
OK Panasonic and Sony: your move. Seriously.
