I also have suffered greatly through hundreds of Premiere w/ Axio crashes & freeze-ups despite an approved 64-bit system from an experienced seller, and have been looking at alternatives. But the pre-release hype machine has done the job on me and I will give Adobe one last chance hoping even half of it is true - especially the reportedly vast improvement in memory usage that all but eliminates crashes.
