Just got my camera 2day.....worried about something

Just to help anyone else out...the cheapest authorized dealer with good ratings I found was beach camera. $3249, then $2949 after $300 rebate.

I still havent purchased a DVX yet...I will be doing so within a month, most likely through them. Has anyone on these forums dealt with Beach Camera before? If so please tell me about your experience with them...thanks a ton!
 
I just bought a DVX 100A from Rush at EVS. Great deal and I didn't have that sick feeling ... no fear at all. CALL EVS!
 
EVS can be almost as cheap, especially if you don't use a credit card. And they may save you money on shipping. Call Rush before you buy.
 
Has anyone heard of Digital Liquidators? I am certain they aren't an authorized dealer but they are offering in stock the dvx for 1559. They also offer the rebate of 300. Total price currently 1259. Overnight for 89. Using american express so I feel safer.
 
I urge you to buy it as this is a heck of a deal. If the hundreds of posts here on this topic can't warn you off, just let us all know how it comes out. $1259 for a $3400 camera is a heck of a bargain. That savings will buy a lot of batteries and tapes. I wish I needed another one at that price.

Almost half of street price. You are asking for trouble!

Why not have a list of unauthorized dealers/thieves/scam artist on this site??

...they didnt send me my lamborghini yet.. they only sent me this little sticker of the car i wanted, but i got ALOT of nice accessories.. i got a toaster oven for the car, and a bottle of "lambo wax" that they said will make it fly, and i also got a cool license plate attachment that has a picture of a duck on it, and a solar battery charger ... im not sure about the battery charger though cause it appears to just be a solar powered calculator.
