GH2 just got GH2,lcd blinking. help please

hello, just got the GH2,coming from GH1,it seems that i need to read the manual ,as it seems few things have been added and changed ..one thing that im trying to find out is that for some reason (in full manual mode with manual lens) for some reason the lcd blinks (to a lower exposure) than back to normal for some reason, once i hit record that wont happen, it got to be a setting or something, i cant find it, i don't remember my gh1 ever doing something like that, thanks for any tips or help..
 
Is it the auto LCD brightness mode? Page 59 in the PAL Manual. I noticed my LCD sometimes appeared to jump in brightness so I turned off Auto [A*] and selected [2*] Normal.
